Mohamed El-Haram

Dr Mohamed El-Haram is a Senior Research Fellow in the Construction Management Research Unit, Division of Civil Engineering, at the University of Dundee. His research interests include whole life costing, sustainability assessment, visual communications for sustainable development, reliability, integrated logistics support, project management and asset management. He has published over 30 scientific publications and is co-author of a book in these fields. He is interested in the application of whole life costing, value and sustainability in the construction industry and has expertise in the oil and gas sector. He is currently working on a research project to develop an integrated sustainability assessment toolkit. He is also Managing Director of Whole Life Consultants Ltd, a spin-out company from the University of Dundee that specializes in asset whole life issues such as cost, performance and value.
